By popular vote, "Change" has become the word of the
month with new administrations not only on the national but also on
the local scene.
General Lee Greer has successfully led this Chapter through a period of
change that has brought achievement and recognition to a new high. I
am truly challenged to continue that upward climb in advancing the
scholarship, education, and Air Force advocacy programs. Drawing
from experience, I have found that it was easy to perform
"heroic-appearing" acts flying airplanes when you have an ejection
seat and a parachute. The Chapter's talented staff and energetic
team provide a meaningful replacement for those in-flight emergency
devices.
Now it is time to continue the upwards soar. Financial and
global crises will make our mission more difficult in the coming
year, but, with a little participation by everyone, we will be able
to provide the services, education and advocacy to our members, Air
Force active duty members, retirees and their families.
I am honored to be selected to serve as President of
this award winning AFA Chapter. A heartfelt thanks to Lee Greer and
the Executive Committee for a job well done.
Thanks,

Quote of the day:
"Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the
arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage
of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world
do not have."
-- Ronald Reagan
